Kazakhstan Railways plans to ban the transportation of oil products to the Russian port of Taman by rail.

The CFTS portal reported this, citing the Reuters news agency.

According to a document from the state-owned railway operator, the transportation of petroleum products to the Russian Black Sea port of Taman will be banned from 8 May.

According to Reuters, no reasons for the ban were disclosed in the document, which was issued to cargo shippers.

Three traders said the terminal was continuing the transshipment of oil products and LPG.
