The Kryukov Railcar Building Works (Kremenchuk, Poltava region) expects production of freight cars to reduce by 84% to 349 in 2015, compared with 2014. The economic department of the Kremenchuk city executive committee announced this in a statement, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.
According to the statement, the Kryukov Railcar Building Works also upgraded 25 subway cars for the Kiev subway in 2015, compared with 96 subway cars in 2014.
The Kryukov Railcar Building Works has operated for only 13 days in December.
The Kryukov Railcar Building Works reduced production of freight cars by 54.7% to 2,406 in 2014, compared with 2013. At the same time, it produced one passenger car in 2014, compared with 74 in 2013. It also upgraded 95 subway cars for the Kyiv subway.
