The Kryukov Railcar Building Works has repaired a Tarpan (EKr1) train and delivered it to its operator, the Ukrainian High-Speed Railway Company. The train will be soon resume transportation of passengers, the press service the Kryukov Railcar Building Works said.
The Kryukov Railcar Building Works performed warranty repair of the equipment that ensures the functioning of the equipment that powers the train’s lighting, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as its toilets.
The repair work began on July 9, 2014.
A similar Tarpan train operated on the Kiev-Odessa-Vinnitsa route while the train was under repair.
