Kyiv Subway Transports Almost 320 Million Passengers In 2021

The Kyiv subway transported 319.3 million passengers in 2021.

The Kyivskyi Metropolilten transport utility, which operates the Kyiv subway, announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

"As usual, the Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska subway line was the busiest," the statement said.

The Obolonsko–Teremkivska subway line was the second busiest.

The Syretsko-Pecherska subway line was the least busy.

As the CFTS reported, the number of passengers transported by the Kyiv subway reduced by 56% to 279.5 million in 2020, compared with 495.3 million in 2019.
