The Polish national airline, LOT, is interested in new destinations on the Ukrainian market, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Viktor Dovhan has said.
"We are discussing the launching of flights to Dnipro/Ivano-Frankivsk/Vinnytsia with LOT," the deputy minister wrote on Facebook.
According to him, the Polish side also provided information about government plans to build a hub airport between the cities of Lodz and Warsaw, which would handle air traffic to Central Europe. The airport could have a capacity of 50 million passengers per year and investments in it could reach EUR 10 billion.
Dovhan also said that LOT was interested in the option of flights on the routes Kyiv - Lviv - Warsaw and Odesa - Lviv - Warsaw.
