The Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) has received confirmation from Polish Railways that the new Intercity+ high-speed train No. 705/706 has been scheduled to operate on the Kyiv-Lviv-Przemysl route. The train is scheduled to depart on its first trip on this route on 23 December.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, Hyundai Rotem electric trains will be operated on the route. The trains will be operated daily.

The prices of tickets from Kyiv to Przemysl are approximately UAH 574 (first class) and UAH 406 (second class) and the prices of tickets from Lviv to Przemysl are UAH 235 and UAH 172, respectively. Ticket prices may vary depending on currency fluctuations because they are pegged to the euro. These prices are calculated at the exchange rate of EUR 1 to UAH 27.5099.

On domestic routes – for example, from Kyiv to Lviv – fares will vary depending on day of week. For example, the cheapest fares in first-class carriages will be on Tuesdays and the cheapest in second-class carriages will be on Thursdays and Saturdays. Tickets are already on sale.

The travel time from Kyiv to Przemysl will be 7 hours 40 minutes and the return trip will take 7 hours 7 minutes. According to the timetable, the train will depart from Kyiv at 06:45 and arrive at its final destination at 13:25. On the return trip, the train will depart at 14:26 and arrive in Kyiv at 22:33.

The train will make stops at the Sviatoshyn (Kyiv), Korosten (Zhytomyr region), Pidzamche (Lviv), and Lviv stations.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the timetable is designed to allow the possibility of transfers to the train No. 3602, which departs from Przemysl at 14:29 and travels to Krakow and Wroclaw. On the return trip, passengers on the train No. 6302 will also be able to transfer to the train traveling to Kyiv.
