Passenger traffic through the Lviv international airport increased by 47.8% to 822,200 in the period of January-September this year, compare with 556,300 in the corresponding period of last year, the airport announced in a statement.
The number of flights handled by the airport increased by 37% from 6,571 to 8,995.
The average monthly increase of passenger traffic was 50%.
The airport handled 119,400 passengers in September, which is 40.3% more than it handled in September last year (85,100).
The number of flights performed was 1,182, which is 29.9% more than the number in the same period of last year (910).
