The DPKr-2 regional express diesel train will start operating on the Lviv-Kovel-Lviv route on 31 October. According to the Lviv Railway (a division of the Ukrzaliznytsia public railway company), the train will operate four days a week: on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.
The train No. 703 will depart from Lviv at 11:31 and arrive in Kovel at 14:37. In the opposite direction, the train No. 704 will depart from Kovel at 15:10 and arrive in Lviv at 18:26.
It will make stops in Chervonohrad, Ivanychi, and Volodymyr-Volynskyi.
As reported earlier, the Lviv Railway bought this train, which was produced by the Kryukov Railcar Building Works, in September 2015. It transported passengers between Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk, but it was taken off the route in late summer this year because of low capacity utilization.
