A ballistic missile strike destroyed 10 vegetable oil reservoirs at a Singaporean agro-industrial company that specializes in producing and transshipping vegetable oils in the Odesa region on 19 April.
The State Environmental Inspectorate’s office for the southwestern district announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
According to the statement, over 10,000 tons of vegetable oil were destroyed in the reservoirs.
The Singaporean-Ukrainian company Delta Wilmar’s terminal for the transshipment of vegetable oils and other production facilities were damaged.
State environmental inspectors for the southwestern district (the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions) inspected the sites of the rocket attack to assess the damage inflicted on the environment.
"It was established that over 500 square meters of land was littered with metal fragments and burnt products, causing damage worth almost UAH 37 million," the statement said.
They also established that over 3,000 square meters of land was contaminated with vegetable oil, causing damage worth UAH 20.2 million.
