Video footage filmed by Syrian rebels showing a Mi-8 helicopter operated by Syrian government troops surviving a direct hit by an anti-aircraft missile has been turned into a commercial by the Ukrainian company Motor Sich, according to theaviationist.com.

To highlight the resilience of its products, Motor Sich, a large aircraft and helicopter engine manufacturer, has created an advertising campaign based on this footage.

The video shows an anti-aircraft missile hitting the engine of a flying Mi-8 helicopter, producing a fiery explosion and smoke. However, despite the direct hit, the engine manufactured by Motor Sich continues to work and the helicopter continues to fly.

Chants of “Allah Akbar!” (God is great!) by the rebels can be heard repeatedly in the video and the emblem of Motor Sich appears at the end of the video with the words "Motorsich Akbar."
