The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Borys Ostapiuk as the general director of the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia), the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers has announced. The relevant decision was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 1.
Ostapiuk held senior positions in the railway industry in 2005, 2007, and 2010. In particular, he held the posts of deputy general director of Ukrzaliznytsia and head of the Donetsk railway.
As reported, Ukrzaliznytsia’s former head Serhii Bolobolin announced on March 6 that he had decided to resign. The government relieved him of his post on March 19.
