Passenger traffic through the Kharkiv international airport increased by 31% in January 2016, compared with the corresponding period of 2015, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports, citing the press service of the airport.
"It increased by 31% to total 32,255 passengers," the press service said.
According to the press service, monthly increases in passenger traffic through the airport have been observed since September 2015.
The Kharkiv airport’s runway has a length of 2,500 meters and a width of 45 meters. Two passenger terminals with capacities of 100 and 650 passengers per hour are located on the territory of the airport.
