The Kharkiv airport handled 72,700 passengers in November 2018. This represents an increase of 19% compared with the corresponding period of 2017, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from the Kharkiv airport.
The most popular destinations in November were Kyiv, Istanbul, Warsaw, Katowice, Dortmund, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Tel Aviv, and Minsk. The airport noted that the Wizz Air airline also launched flights to Vienna and London in November.
“We will add four new destinations – Odesa, Krakow, Rome, and Milan – in in the coming year,” the airport said.
As the CFTS portal reported, the SkyUp airline intends to launch Kharkiv-Odesa flights on June 2, 2019. Ernest Airlines plans to launch flights from Kharkiv to Rome and Milan on March 21. Wizz Air has announced flights on the Kharkiv-Krakow route from September 19.
The Kharkiv airport handled 82,900 passengers in October 2018, which was 22% more than the number it handled in the corresponding period of 2017.
