The Lviv airport handled 35,100 passengers in March, which is 15.8% more than the number it handled during the same period last year, the press service of the airport announced.

The airport handled 24,800 passengers on international flights (71% of the total number of passengers handled by the airport) and 10,300 domestic passengers (29%).

The most popular destinations for passengers passing through the airport were Istanbul (the Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen airports), Boryspil, Warsaw, Munich, and Vienna.

In total, the airport handled 524 flights – 395 domestic and 129 international – in March.

Most of the passengers were transported by UIA, LOT, Pegasus, Atlasjet Ukraine, and Turkish Airlines.
