The total volume of passenger traffic through Ukrainian airports was 20.55 million in 2018.
According to data from Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian, this is a historical indicator.
Compared with 2017, when all the country's airports handled a combined 16.49 million passengers, they handled 25% more in 2018.
The largest increases in passenger traffic were at the Kyiv airport (52%), the Chernivtsi airport (51%), the Lviv airport (48%), the Boryspil and Kharkiv airports (19% each), and the Zaporizhia airport (15%).
As reported earlier, the total volume of passenger traffic and the number of transfer passengers handled by the Boryspil airport increased in 2018.
