Ukrainian airlines performed 82.3% of all their flights from the country's airports within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival or departure times in July 2019, which represents an improvement by 8.4 percentage points compared with June (73.9%).
The Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian airlines performed 5,625 flights in July.
Of the Ukrainian airlines that performed more than 50 flights in July, Motor Sich remained the most punctual with a punctuality rate of 94.8% from 288 flights. Windrose was second with a punctuality rate of 90.1% from 686 flights and Azur Air Ukraine was third with a punctuality rate of 84.7% from 425 flights. Ukraine International Airlines, which is the largest airline on the market, was fourth with a punctuality rate of 81.2% from 3,336 flights. Bukovyna Airlines was fifth with a punctuality rate of 78.9% from 194 flights.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the punctuality rate of Ukrainian airlines fell to 74% in June, when they performed a combined 5,335 flights.
