According to Azerbaijan Railways’ new train timetable, a direct railcar to Dnipro will be added to the Baku-Kyiv-Baku train No. 369/370 from December 9.
This was announced in a statement on the website of Azerbaijan Railways, the CFTS portal reports.
"According to the new timetable, a Baku-Dnipro-Baku coach car will be operated as part of the Baku-Kyiv-Baku passenger train No. 369/370," the statement said.
Azerbaijan Railways launched a direct train to the Ukrainian capital in April 2018 by extending the Baku-Kharkiv train to Kyiv. The head of the Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (JSC Ukrzaliznytsia), Yevhen Kravtsov, said at the time that the possibility of increasing the frequency of this train would be considered in case of high demand for this route.
