The Viking Alliance container terminal, which began operation in the port of Reni at the end of 2022, has already processed about 1,500 containers.

The NG Shipping transport and logistics company’s head Heorhii Cherniavskyi stated this in a column on the CFTS portal.

"About 1,500 containers were processed in the port in this terminal’s first month of operation. So, this is undoubtedly a significant event for the industry," he wrote.

As reported earlier, the terminal became operational at the beginning of December last year. "This is the only container terminal in Reni and the only [maritime container terminal] operating in Ukraine today," the Odesa region’s regional development agency said at the time.

The project was implemented with the support of the embassies of Denmark and Sweden, the Ukrainian Seaports Authority (USPA), and the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure.
