In addition, the Southern Operational Command said that Russian fired a 120-caliber mortar at the Ochakiv port waters from the Kinburn Spit the previous day, but there were no casualties.

"The enemy attacked Mykolaiv with rockets from a Smerch multiple launch rocket system and anti-aircraft guided missiles from an S-300 system. Industrial and port infrastructure facilities, residential buildings were hit," the statement said.

As reported earlier, the Ukrainian military began noticing the use of Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones (Russian marking Geran-2) by the Russia military in mid-September after shooting several of them down.
