A ship carrying 30,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat arrived at the Kenyan port of Mombasa on 20 March.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

Over 320,000 tons of wheat have been shipped to Kenya since the opening of the "grain corridor" (the humanitarian maritime corridor established under the Black Sea Grain Initiative to allow ships to export grain and other foodstuffs from Ukraine).

"Ukraine has sent a humanitarian cargo of almost 500,000 tons of wheat to needy and hungry countries, including 140,000 tons within the framework of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program," the statement said.
