The loading of the Fakarava ship (flag of Malta) at the Yuzhny seaport (Odessa region) finished on 15 May. The ship was loaded with more than 200,000 tons of iron ore, which is the record weight of cargo loaded onto a vessel at a Ukrainian port, the press service of the Yuzhny port reports.
The cargo ship was loaded to the draft of 18.5 meters.
The previous record was set when 180,000 tons of iron-ore concentrate was loaded onto the Red Sage vessel.
