The Ministry of Transport’s commission for considering the right to operate on air routes will consider the applications of eight carriers for the right to operate on several routes on 26 June, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.

The Atlasjet Ukraine airline has filed applications for the following routes: from Lvov to Istanbul and Naples, from Odessa and Kharkov to Istanbul, from Vinnitsa to Istanbul and Tel Aviv, from Kiev to Tbilisi, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Erbil, Luton, Milan, Dusseldorf, Naples, Madrid, Bishkek, and Larnaca, and from Odessa to Batumi, Vilnius, Milan, and Naples.

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has applied for increase of the number of its flights on the following routes: from Kiev to Minsk, Venice, Warsaw, Tel Aviv, Prague, and Tehran, from Odessa to Istanbul, and from Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk, and Kharkov to Tel Aviv. UIA has also applied for three flights per week on the Kiev-Amman route, seven on the Kiev-Bucharest route, two on the Lvov-Naples route, and four on the Kharkov-Istanbul route. In addition, it has applied for the right to operate new flights on the following routes: Kiev-Bergamo, Lvov-Bologna, Lvov-Bergamo, Lvov-Istanbul, Vinnitsa-Bergamo, Vinnitsa-Warsaw, Vinnitsa-Istanbul, Vinnitsa-Tel Aviv, Kharkov-Milan, Kiev-Zaporozhe, and Kiev-Ivano-Frankovsk.

The Dniproavia airline has applied for the right to operate flights on the routes Odessa-Tbilisi, Kiev-Sofia, Kiev-Bucharest, Lvov-Naples, Odessa-Baku, Kharkov-Istanbul, Odessa-Batumi, Kharkov-Warsaw, and Kherson-Moscow, as well as on the domestic routes Lvov-Odessa, Kharkov-Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk-Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk-Odessa, and Kiev-Kherson.

The Motor Sich airline has applied for increase of the number of its weekly flights on the Zaporozhe-Moscow route from five to seven.

The UTair Ukraine airline has applied for the right to operate at least one charter flight per week or at least three flights per month to a number of resort destinations during the 2015 IATA summer season.

The Dart airline has applied for the right to operate charter flights to Egypt, Bulgaria, Georgia, and other countries. The Urga airline has applied for addition of new airfields in South Sudan, to which it operates flights. Air Taurus has applied for the right to operate rights to South Sudan, Uganda, South Africa, Congo, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
