The Uber ride-sharing service launched operation in Odesa on 2 February.
According to the company, only the UberX low-cost service is currently available. The tariffs for the UberX are as follows: a base fare of UAH 5; UAH 4.50 per kilometer; a minimum fare of UAH 14.
The company has announced a promotional campaign, under which it will not charge fares for trips around the city until the end of the day on Sunday, 5 February.
The promotional code is ODESSA, which is to be entered in the "Payment" section of the Uber mobile app. This code entitles customers to five free rides (the cost of each trip cannot exceed UAH 75).
