Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has canceled all flights between Kiev and Simferopol until April 30, the airline company announced in a statement.

The decision to cancel flights was made because of the current restrictions on flights to the Crimea.

The carrier will announce any changes to its timetable.

As reported, the Simferopol airport has been accepting only flights from Moscow since March 11. The airport also stated that it is operating "under conditions of introduction of procedures related to air traffic control," without clarifying what this phrase means. Regular flights to/from Kiev and Istanbul have been canceled because of the closure of the airport.
