Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has added another Boeing 737-800 NG medium-haul aircraft to its fleet, the press service of the airline announced.
This is the fifth of the nine aircraft that the airline expects to receive under a program for increasing and upgrading its fleet of aircraft this year and the 36th in the airline's fleet.
The aircraft, which was provided by the Irish leasing company, SMBC, has already undergone official registration in Ukraine and assigned the number UR-PSS.
The first flight on this aircraft will be performed on the Kyiv-Kutaisi route on Monday, 13 June.
The Boeing 737-800 NG, which was manufactured in 2009, underwent scheduled overhaul before its delivery to UIA. New seats and new fixed kitchen equipment were installed and key interior elements were upgraded. The aircraft can accommodate 186 passengers.
