Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will launch direct flights from Kyiv to Ankara (Turkey) in the winter season, which will begin on 30 October 2016, avianews.com reports.
The flights will be operated daily, using Boeing 737 aircraft. A roundtrip ticket will cost about UAH 6,200.
According to the timetable, the flights will depart from Kyiv at 20:00 and depart from Ankara at 06:00. The journey will take about two hours.
This timetable will allow the new flight to connect to flights on UIA’s other routes, indicating the airline’s intention to use its transit potential to fill aircraft on this route.
Currently, there are no direct flights between Kyiv and Ankara. The most convenient option for flights to the capital of Turkey is a transfer in Istanbul.
