According to preliminary data, Grain exports from Ukraine totaled 34.65 million tons in the 2014/2015 marketing year (July-June), including 18.837 million tons of corn. The Interfax Ukraine news agency reported this, citing the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In addition to corn, 11.08 million tons of wheat, 4.46 million tons of barley, and 0.28 million tons of other cereals were exported to foreign markets in the past marketing year.
As reported, Ukraine harvested a record of nearly 63.8 million tons of grain and leguminous crops (excluding the harvest in the Crimea) in 2014, which is 2.4% more than it harvested in 2013.
Exports totaled 32.4 million tons in the 2013/2014 marketing year.
