The State Automobile Road Agency (Ukravtodor) has patched potholes on 60,100 kilometers of public roads or 5 million square meters (93% of total) as of July 11, the CFTS correspondent reported, citing a press release issued by Ukravtodor ahead of a press conference.

Repair work has been completed on all public-access state roads except those in the Lviv region and some segments in the Chernovtsi, Ivano-Frankovsk, and Transcarpathian regions.

Potholes remain on 290,000 square meters of local roads, including 79,000 square meters in the Lviv region, 51,000 in the Chernihiv region, 57,000 in the Cherkasy region, 31,000 in the Zakarpattia region, and 19,000 in the Chernivtsi region.

According to the report, Ukravtodor also plans to double the pace of the pothole patching work with the aim of completing it in 1-2 weeks.

As reported, Ukravtodor also intends to perform medium current repairs on at least 3,000 kilometers of roads this year. Ukravtodor is responsible for the conditions of public-access state roads while municipal authorities are responsible for the conditions of roads within cities and villages.
