Road construction workers are repairing the T-26-08 highway from the city of Storozhynets to the Krasnoilsk checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Romanian border in Bukovyna.
The State Road Agency (Ukravtodor) announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
"High-quality transport links and a reliable road infrastructure on the border with countries of the European Union are a guarantee of our country’s economic and food security during the war," the statement said.
Road construction workers are repairing the worn surface of the section of the T-26-08 highway between Storozhynets and the Krasnoilsk checkpoint to allow vehicles to travel safely to neighboring Romania.
A section of this highway was repaired in 2021.
