The Ukroboronprom state defense concern appointed Oleksandr Los as the president of the Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise on July 7, 2020, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Interfax Ukraine news agency.
According to Ukroboronprom, the renewal of the of the state-owned enterprise’s management staff will facilitate transparent corporate governance and performance of the financial audits necessary to attract foreign capital, as well as accelerate the pace of production of the An family of aircraft.
Ukroboronprom also said that it fully fulfilled its obligations to the Antonov state enterprise’s previous president Oleksandr Donets, as stipulated in the labor law and his contract.
According to Ukroboronprom, Los was previously Antonov’s vice president for production.
As the CFTS portal reported, Ukroboronprom decided to relieve Donets of the post of president of the Antonov state enterprise on June 9. Los took over as the acting president of Antonov on June 11.
