This is the fifth project that Ukrposhta and the Universal Postal Union are implementing jointly. The cost of grant that we will receive is USD 1.1 million. We have invited tenders and we are inviting all suppliers to participate and submit tender documentation,” Ukrposhta’s General Director Ihor Smelianskyi said.
According to the legislation, the procurement will be made via the ProZorro electronic procurement system. The deadline for submitting bids is 24 October 2016. More details can be found here.
As the CFTS previously reported, Ukrposhta intends to buy 24 trucks. Ukrposhta cancelled a similar tender because none of bidders met the necessary conditions.
Ukrposhta has a fleet of 3,600 vehicles. The new management of the company plans to draft a program for upgrading this fleet.
