The Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) will establish rail links between Przemysl (Poland) and another Ukrainian city by launching a direct train between Dnipro and Przemysl on April 19, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from Ukrzaliznytsia.
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the 2019 timetable for passenger trains includes two direct trains from Dnipro to Przemysl.
Direct Dnipro-Przemysl compartment cars will be hooked onto the train No. 86/85 Novooleksiivka-Lviv in Dnipro and then re-hooked onto the train No. 90/89 Lviv-Przemysl at the Lviv train station from April 19, 2019.
On the return trip from Przemysl, these compartment cars will begin running on April 20, 2019 as part of train No. 35/36 Przemysl-Odesa. It will be re-hooked onto the train No. 70/69 Lviv-Mariupol in Lviv.
The ticket price depends on the exchange rate on the day of purchase. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the total cost of a ticket is currently UAH 1,814.32 (UAH 1,161.76 for children). Tickets can be purchased at railway ticket offices.
As reported earlier, a Lviv-Przemysl train that will operate throughout the year during period of the highest passenger traffic was launched on December 20, 2018.
