The Ukrzaliznytsia public joint-stock railway company plans to purchase several thousand gondola cars in 2016, the company’s acting Board Chairman Oleksandr Zavhorodnyi said in an interview with the Magistral newspaper.
"We plan to build 4,000 gondola cars at the Ukrainian enterprises next year. Negotiations on purchase of 1,100 freight cars are currently being held," he said.
Zavhorodnyi added that purchase of a grain carrier would be possible only in case of "attraction of credit programs."
