The winner of a tender for construction of a bridge over River Dnipro in Zaporizhia was determined via the ProZorro electronic public procurement system on February 21. The tender was for construction of the H-08 highway Boryspil – Dnipro –Zaporizhia (through Kremenchuk) – Mariupol and a branch to the island of Khortytsia (a bridge over River Dnipro in the city of Zaporizhia).

The winner of the tender is Onur Taahhüt Taşımacılık İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş., which offered to implement the project for UAH 11.918 billion compared with the expected cost of UAH 12.340 billion, the CFTS portal reports.

The bridge will have a length of 9,100 meters and connect the right bank of River Dnipro in the city of Zaporizhia with the central part of its left bank and the main industrial zone in the north through both tributaries of the River Dnipro and the island of Khortytsia.

The highway will consist of six transport interchanges with 27 artificial structures.

As reported earlier, a tender for completion of the bridge in Zaporizhia was announced by the Zaporizhia regional division of the State Automobile Road Service (Ukravtodor) in November.

The Cabinet of Ministers is hoping that construction of the bridge will be completed within 2-3 years, including the first phase of the bridge within 2 years.
