The Wizz Air Ukraine airline company will launch flights on the Kiev-Larnaca (Cyprus) route on May 1, 2014. The press service of the low-cost airline company announced this in a statement.

The flights will be operated on one of the company’s new Airbus 320 airplanes. Tickets have already gone on sale on the wizzair.com website at the price of UAH 309 (one way, including the mandatory fees).

The company will operate flights on this route twice a week - on Thursdays and Sundays.

As reported, the airline company earlier announced the launch of Donetsk-Larnaca flights beginning in March 2014. Wizz Air also announced the launch of Larnaca-Belgrade flights on December 19. The group’s airlines now offer flights to Larnaca from six cities in Eastern and Central Europe: Budapest, Sofia, Bucharest, Donetsk, Belgrade, and Kiev. The airline company will offer more than 250,000 seats for flights during the first 12 months of operation on the new routes.

The Wizz Air group consists of Wizz Air Hungary, Wizz Air Ukraine, and Wizz Air Serbia.
