2 Ships Damaged In Kherson Port Due To Russian Attack

A video showing a fire on a Turkish ship in a Ukrainian port after a Russian munition hit the ship began circulating on social media in the evening on 25 January.

According to Turkish mass media, the Tuzla bulk carrier came under fire while in anchorage in the Kherson port, the CFTS portal reports/

The Ferahnaz ship was also damaged during the Russian attack. According to preliminary information, the vessel sustained minor damage and there were no casualties.

According to data from the MarineTraffic maritime analytics provider, the Tuzla bulk carrier arrived at the port of Kherson in February last year, precisely on the eve of the Russian military invasion.

As the CFTS portal reported, the ships that were in the port at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion remain there. Meanwhile, the Kherson port’s fleet has been stolen by the Russian occupiers.
