According to data from the State Statistics Service, 586 freight cars were manufactured in Ukraine in the period from December 2020 to April 2021. These are 53% fewer than the number of freight cars manufactured in the same period in 2020, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Rail Insider publication.
There is no production data for April and March. In the period from January to February, 184 freight cars were produced in Ukraine.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, 3,241 freight cars were manufactured in Ukraine in 2020 (70.1% fewer than the number manufactured in 2019), 197 in December last year (63% fewer than in December 2019), 188 in May, 176 in June, 235 in July, 243 in August, 335 in September, 326 in October, and 293 in November. Almost half of these cars (1,569) were produced at the Kryukov Railcar Building Works.
