The Lodz airport intends to develop air links with Ukrainian cities. The airport’s Director Tomasz Szymczak announced this at the “AeroCongress" in Kyiv, the CFTS correspondent reports.

"We are looking for partners in Ukraine," the head of the airport said, adding that the airport’s priorities were Lviv and Vinnytsia.

Lodz is located 135 kilometers from Warsaw. It is the third largest city in Poland. Ryanair and Adria Airways currently fly from Lodz to destinations in Western Europe. The Lodz airport received about 300,000 passengers in 2015.

Most flights from Ukraine to Poland are currently operated to Warsaw and Katowice. There are also flights to Gdansk and Radom.
