АN-178 is being tested before the demonstration at Dubai Air Show-2015, the Antonov's press office reports.
International air show in Dubai (UAE) will be held on November 8-12. The Antonov Company considers that the An-178 aircraft will be interesting for the operators of the Near East and Africa as the plane has all the necessary characteristics for its use in the region.
"AN-178 can be effectively used in logistics schemes to carry packed cargoes, pallets, containers, including maritime containers C1. Besides, this airplane with payload of 15-18 tons will be an effective replacement for the AN-12 and C-160 known in the region," Oleksandr Kotsiuba, First Vice President of Antonov Company, says.
During Dubai Air Show-2015, Antonov Company will conduct series of meeting and negotiations for promotion of the AN-178 and its modifications into the Near East and Africa.
