The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Viktor Frunza as the head of the state-owned Odessa Railway. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the relevant decree (No. 497) on May 21.

According to the Interfax Ukraine news agency, Frunza previously headed the Ivano-Frankovsk rail transport directorate of the Lvov Railway.

As previously reported, the general director of the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia) appointed Oleksandr Zaruba as the first deputy head of the Odessa Railway on the same day.

The Cabinet of Ministers relieved Mykola Lukhanin of the post of general director of the Odessa Railway and relieved Mykola Rohov of the post of general director of the Donetsk Railway on April 9. In addition, the government relieved Oleksii Slipchenko, Oksana Plotnikov, and Petro Naumenko of the posts of deputy head of Ukrzaliznytsia.
