The Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure has appointed the Boryspil international airport’s Deputy General Director Serhii Hombolevskyi as the general director of the airport, the press service of the ministry announced.
Hombolevskyi was appointed via the ministry’s order No. 46 dated March 31.
As reported, the Ministry of Infrastructure relieved Oleksii Kochanov of the post of general director of the airport by mutual agreement (order No. 36-O) on March 12. Thereafter, Hombolevskyi acted as the general director of the airport.
The Boryspil airport is the largest airport in Ukraine. It accounts for more than 50% of the passenger traffic in the country. More than 50 airlines perform regular flights to/from the airport, offering passengers over 100 routes worldwide.
