The first flight to be performed from the Mykolaiv airport after a long break took off took on Tuesday, November 19, the CFTS portal reports, citing the MediaInfo publication. An AeroJet Airlines aircraft flew from the Mykolaiv airport to the Kyiv (Zhulyany) airport.
According to Mykolaiv-based reporters, the aircraft arrived in Mykolaiv from Odesa, where it is permanently based. According to the Flightradar24 service, the Saab 340B aircraft landed at the Kyiv (Zhulyany) airport at 11:54. The flight lasted 1 hour 05 minutes.
As reported, the Mykolaiv airport was expected to resume operation in March 2018, but resumption of operation was later postponed.
An apron was repaired at the airport in the spring.
