"The idea of Euro gauge been living in our heads for a long time. It is extremely important for both Ukraine and Poland, as well as for the entire European community," Lviv’s Mayor Andrii Sadovyi said while opening the international conference "Eurorail 2015: Innovative Solutions in Rail Transport - the Future of Cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union," which is taking place in Lvov from 19 to 20 November, the CFTS correspondent reports.

The conference was organized to share experiences, promote new projects and technologies, and establish ties between Ukraine and the European Union.

The organizers of the conference are the Institute of Economic Cooperation, together with the Transport Committee of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Lviv city council of the city. The conference also received partial financial support from Poland’s Ministry of Economy.
