From 08:00 on August 5 the Ilyichevsk seaport (Odessa region) introduced the handling of containerized goods arriving in the country by water transport without requiring the use of paper-based orders, the press service of the Ministry of infrastructure announced.
In accordance with the order No. 156 of the president of the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine dated July 23, 2014, the processing of containerized cargo for transportation by trucks is performed electronically at the Ilyichevsk seaport, using the Port Community Information System.
This involves harmonization of the procedures for entry of vehicles to the port for loading with containers by the customs service and the port administration.
At the same time, it is noted that those wishing to process goods based on paper orders, which remain in use on the territory of the port, can also do so.
As reported, the Ilyichevsk seaport introduced mandatory registration of orders for imported containers in both paper and electronic forms simultaneously in the Port Community Information System on June 2.
