The State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia) has temporarily determined that international transit trains and international trains traveling to or from the Crimea will stop only at unclassed stations and first-class stations from May 8 and that the other stops will be canceled. The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia announced this in a statement.
The total number of train stations in Ukraine is 126, of which 19 are unclassed and 12 are first class.
The unclassed train stations are Donetsk, Lugansk, Yasinovataya, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, Chernovtsy, Chop, Ternopol, Rovno, Uzhgorod, Odessa Main, Kharkov Passenger, Kiev Passenger, Zhmerinka, Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhe-1, and Simferopol.
The first-class train stations are Debaltsevo, Ilovaysk, Kherson, Nikolayev, T. Shevchenko North, Poltava South, Sumy, Kharkov-Levada, Lozovaya, Kazatin, Sevastopol, and Dzhankoy.
The list of the international trains that will stop only at unclassed and first-class train stations: the St. Petersburg-Sevastopol train No. 8/7; the Moscow-Uzhgorod-Budapest train No. 15/16; the Moscow-Sevastopol train No. 17/18; the Kislovodsk ( Adler)-Moscow train No. 27/28; the Perm-Simferopol train No. 53/54; the Moscow-Simferopol train No. 29/30; the Moscow-Sofia train No. 59/60; the Moscow-Chisinau train No. 47/48; the St. Petersburg-Chisinau train No. 61/62; the Chisinau-Moscow train No. 66/65; the Simferopol-Moscow train No. 68/67; the Kerch-Feodosiya-Moscow train No. 98/212; the Moscow-Simferopol train No. 99/100; the Yekaterinburg-Simferopol train No. 141/142; the Minsk-Adler/Mineralnye Vody/Anapa train No. 302/356/390; the Moscow-Chisinau train No. 341/342; the Polotsk-Simferopol train No. 393/394.
Passengers who have bought tickets to the stations where trains will no longer stop will be asked to return their tickets for full refunds. Passengers can also travel to the stations preceding the ones to which they purchased tickets: in this case, if they present their travel documents to the ticket office no later than three hours after the departure of their train, the tickets will be stamped and they will be refunded for the distance not traveled.
