Israel’s largest air carrier El Al is launching a new pricing model for economy-class tickets to all European destinations, enabling passengers to customize their flight package and fly at attractive rates, the company announced in a statement.

According to the statement, the new pricing model will enter into effect on April 30, 2018, for flights departing as of October 15, 2018.

The new pricing model for the European destinations is based on three different family-branded fares: Classic, Flex, and Lite.

In the Lite pricing model, the basic flight ticket includes one carry-on baggage, food, and beverages; additional paid services including checked-in baggage and seating may be added.

The Classic pricing model includes one carry-on, seating, food, and beverages and one checked-in baggage.

Flex pricing model offers maximum flexibility (unlimited changes + cancellation) for all economy-class booking classes.

Additional services may be ordered under all the pricing models.

Together with the announcement of the new pricing models for European destinations, EL AL announced the launch of a non-stop flight from Tel Aviv to San Francisco, using Boeing 787 Dreamliner airliners. San Francisco will be the sixth EL AL destination in North America, along with New York (JFK and Newark airports), Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, and Toronto.
