The Kyiv Sikorskyi airport (Zhuliany) handled 1,418,153 passengers in 2021, compared with 704,500 in 2020.
The airport announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
The airport handled 1,337,495 passengers on international flights and 80,658 on domestic flights in 2021.
It also handled 19,374 inbound and outbound flights in 2021.
The airport handled 2,617,900 passengers in 2019.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Kyiv airport expects the number of flights and the volume of passenger traffic to increase significantly in 2022-2023.
