UAH 4.2 billion could be allocated for modernization of the Kyiv subway over the next three years. This is stated in the 2016-2018 action plan for implementation of the Kyiv Development Strategy until 2025. The document was approved at a meeting of the Kyiv city council’s standing commission on housing, energy, and utilities, the press service of the Kyiv city council reports.
The plan is to acquire subway cars worth more than UAH 1.3 billion and perform major construction and modernization of the Kyiv subway.
The three-year action plan on implementation of the Kyiv Development Strategy until 2025 should also be considered by the Kyiv city council’s standing commission on budget and socio-economic development.
