The Motor Sich airline has resumed flights between Kyiv and Uzhhorod after a two-month break. The carrier’s contact center confirmed this information to the CFTS portal.
The airline’s aircraft departed from the Zhuliany airport on schedule at 12:00 on Monday. The time of arrival in Uzhhorod was 14:00. The return flight will be performed at 15:00 on Tuesday.
As reported, Motor Sich suspended flights to Uzhhorod in mid-February because the airport lost its security certificate. The State Aviation Service renewed the airport’s certificate on March 3.
The Zakarpattia regional council replaced the head of the airport in March. Vadym Nichik, who previously worked at the Ukraina state aviation enterprise, became the head of the Uzhhorod airport.
