Ukraine and NATO will continue cooperating under the Strategic Airlift Interim Solution (SALIS) program, under which the Antonov An-124-100 cargo aircraft transports strategic air cargo for NATO and the EU, the CFTS portal reports, citing liga.net.

"In accordance with its contractual obligations, the Antonov state enterprise is providing two An-124-100 aircraft for transportation of cargoes for the participants in the SALIS program on a regular basis from January 1, 2019," the company said.

The relevant contract is valid until December 31, 2021.

The Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise’s air transport division has a fleet of seven An-124 airplanes, including upgraded airplanes with payloads of up to 150 tons, An-225 airplanes with payloads of up to 250 tons, and An-22 airplanes with payloads of up to 60 tons.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise’s net profit increased 29.5-fold to UAH 848.2 million in the period of January-September 2018, compared with the same period of 2017 (based on Ukrainian accounting standards).
